Ground Truth Infrastructure

The problem

Remote sensing and incident databases report events roughly 14 days after they occur. These resources cannot capture the shifting needs and threats communities face in real-time. In conflict-affected or underconnected areas, the most salient operational information never makes it into those databases at all.

What I do

I deploy and configure a lightweight SMS-based field reporting system that collects structured reports from community members and surfaces them as a real-time geographic dashboard. No smartphones or internet required on the reporting end.

What you get

A pilot deployment for one organization, one geography, over an agreed time window (typically 3–6 months), including system configuration, reporting schema design with your team, and a web-based map dashboard. Expansion to additional geographies or use cases is scoped after pilot completion.
